The storage option should show up as long as you have an SD card inserted into your device. Try clearing the app's data in your phone's storage settings.

Hey, so, I have Spotify (Premium) installed on my phone (Android) (Moto X4) and I tend to download quite a bit of music, bit I am running out of space, so I put in a SD Card, with the intent to love apps, photos, video and data to it, however there's a problem with Spotify. I can't pass data over to the SD Card, so, how do I do it? Last time before purging Spotify it weighed in at 5.64GB (It hoards data) and I want to move it to the SD Card. Currently it weighs in at 2.4GB. My Android isn't rooted, or anything of the likes. It runs Android 7.1 Nougat. Is there a way to move over the data to the SD?

You can move your downloaded music to an SD card in the settings. Go to Library, hit the settings icon ion the top right-hand corner of the screen, and hit Storage (at the bottom).

Where? In-app or on Android Settings?

Hey, I have the SD Card installed (32GB) and I cleared the Apps data, and then reinstalled it because the first didn't work, and neither the latter. But I think I have found the problem, my SD Card is taken as "Internal Storage" by my phone, so Spotify doesn't or can't tell them apart, even though I have moved whole apps to the SD Card in this (stock) setting.

Hey, thanks for your help, I finally solved it, my hypothesis was correct, when I formatted the SD card to external (mobile) instead of internal storage, the storage section became available in Spotify.
