Thrustmaster racing wheel support

Hey guys, I figured this would be the right place to post this.

I have this old Thrustmaster Nascar Pro racing wheel and I was wondering if it could be used on Windows 8? It uses gameport and I know i can just pick up a gameport to usb adapter, but will it work? Thanks.
