Hi so I have had my desktop that I have built for two years now. I was going to stand up and about a quarter glass full of water was knocked onto my desktop. Because of my radiator There is no top cover of the case so there are just small holes almost like a film for the top of the case. Its a fractal design S if any of you know what I am talking about. So the second the water was dropped the fans started to spin very fast on I'm not sure what but then the computer just crashed. I went into my case and my gpu which is a 1060 with no shroud on top had a few drops of water. The mother board near the ram area was a little damp. The water went through the radiator of my aio corsair cooler but I dont think that would affect the cooler. When i press the power button on my pc nothing happens at all no beep from the mother board or anything. The 24 pin was a little wet but I have sleeving on it so I dont think that would affect the power supply. I have taken out the gpu and unplugged all the cords from my mother board and letting it sit over night. I am unsure what could be broken or what i should do. The mother board i Have is a MSI krait gaming 3x and it is no longer being sold. Would they allow me to rma it and would i get another. And what might be broken. Thank you so much.

Going by which components got water on them, I would worry the most about replacing your motherboard and GPU.

First, get a new motherboard and then test your GPU.

You can RMA your board as long as it's within warranty.
