Hi, I have a build budget of £500 give or take a few

 

I want to use adobe: premier pro, after effects, illustrator 

 

I'll be editing at 1080p

 

Basic editing 

Cutting clips together, adding text

 

What specs can i get for the price and be able to run what I want smoothly

how much over budget are you willing to go. ive got a 6 core build with an 1050 in front of me for 60pounds over budget. i can see what i can do to get it down

got it a tiny bit down. overclock the 1600 to about 3.8 ghz and you are good to go. use the SSD for ongoing projects and HDD for stored projects

it will workm fine if you pagefile to SSD. you will have to go over to 4 core APU for 16 GB of RAM

its when windows runs out of RAM and puts temporary files on the SSD. the boot drive is the defoult

Would I be better of getting a m.2 Samsung 970 evo then for 30 more then the ssd, as it's like 5x faster, as it will bring it closer to ram speeds  @GoldenLag

not really. its not about read speed it is about response time. just dont bother. instead you can get a 500GB mx500
