So currently I am putting plans to build my 3rd gaming pc and for the first time I am going from 720p to 1080p, but the thing is I am on a real real tight budget. I need to buy the whole thing, like a new case, monitor, new psu, basically new everything. Budget is around 550$. Also I am getting my stuff from local stores since if I bought something outside the country then I will probably end up buying 2 parts out of the main set.

So here is the list I made :

Monitor : Samsung *some model idk I can't even find on google* but it runs 1080p with 60hz so it should be fine, its the cheapest I could find around 140$

CPU : Pentium G4560 for 56$

GPU : Galax GTX 1050 2GB OC for 179$

RAM : G.skill AEGIS 8GB 3000 for 78$

Mobo : MSI H110M pro vd for 59$

HDD : WD Caviar green 1tb for 40$

Now I still need a psu and a case, cheapest I can find is a combo for like 55$, and I already kinda passed my limit and I didn't even mention the shipping fees since I actually live far away from my stores.

So idk what I should do. I thought of going to a lower CPU like a celeron but open world games will surely suck, or going for a lower GPU like the rx550 but then what's the point of getting a 1080p monitor, or even lower the ram to 4GB but I am sure games won't even run.

I actually had a brilliant idea but idk if it will work or no, I thought of getting a 2400G and a lower card and try to make the APU and the GPU work together like crossfire/sli, is it possible? If it is, is it efficient and stable?

Or maybe drop the whole 1080p thing and look for a cheaper 720p.. Let me know down below.

pls ignore my grammar mistakes as English is not my language thanks in advance ;_;

First, buy the monitor from the local equivalent of ebay. There should be tons of 1080p monitors for 20 bucks, as the companys update their stuff. But it only works if you live near a big corporation.

Then the r5 2400g can run 1080p games at medium/high 60fps, and it has 4 cores 8 threads, so it should perform better in open world games than the 2 core pentium.

Yea but no. 20 bucks will get me an old used monitor from the 90's. If I am going for something *new* then its at least 70$ and its too freaking small, 18 inch and still 720p..

I would say if you can squeeze it, get a 1050 TI, but if not, you may want to buy used, as around that price point you will have to cut a lot of corners to make it work with new parts.

To be honest mate, I edited this list tons of times, this like is v10 or something. At first I was going for the Ti, but damn it nearly doubled the budget, here the 1050Ti is 235$.

Plus the used market here is in a nutshell, parts is either abused to death or expensive af. I mean the gtx 1060 is 300$ new, but the used ones are like 350$ ?

Oh well then. Your build looks like a good setup if you wanted to upgrade. You could also maybe do a Ryzen APU build like JayzTwoCentz and upgrade that.
