So I'm making an intro for YT in Sony Vegas and I put a mask over the text so that it would appear as if the words were being drawn on the screen. However, when I rendered it, the part where the text goes away doesn't appear in the rendered video. How do I fix this? The video looks like the recording in Vegas, but the actual video doesn't have the part where the text disappears.

I didn't watch the video (since it was an attachment, I'd recommend youtube instead) but are you trying to render a transparent background? This isn't possible with H.264 since it does not support alpha. Have you tried exporting to a .png sequence or a .avi file?
