Hey you guys I'm going to college in two years and I'm starting to think about/save for a new computer. If I keep working this summer, through the school year, and next summer I should have about 1-1.5k USD to blow on this fabled system. My ultimate goal is to build the system in a sub mid tower form factor and make the computer as quiet as possible while being able to game at 1440p. I already have an ssd with an OS on it and a wifi card. Everything else from my old system is unusable. If anyone does have any suggestions of where to look, what parts to consider, etc. please let me know. If I'm insane, let me know that too. Thanks in advance.

Definitely buy all fans, your CPU cooler and your case from Be Quiet!. Maybe something like a GTX 1070 from EVGA. idk much about modern cpu market but if youre buying from intel then just make sure its of the coffee lake architecture and stay away from i9's.
