i Choose the i5 8400 for it's single score speed. otherwise i would have went with that suggestion.

Already bought all parts i would say it's an amazing setup and cheap as f for those prices.

Sounds like he already bought the parts.

I don't understand why you picked a Z370 board with a locked processor, other than that it's a fine build. Some stuff could have been improved if you asked our thoughts about it before buying the parts.

You bought a motherboard that is more expensive than other because it allows for overclocking, but you paired it with a not-overclockable processors, which does not make much sense. A B360 board would have been cheaper and offered you the same features of a Z370 board.

Only AMD offers overclockable chips across its whole lineup, Intel offers overclocking only on K chips (e.g. i5-8600K).

i see.still anything is better then my old pc trust me.mistakes are made nothing can be done to change the paste.and i already tried  asking other people about my parts yet none of em said anything about a locked processor.Still thanks for the info maybe next time.So basically the motherboard is good but most it's features is wasted because my processor is overlocked.

It's still a solid build, I was just higlighting something you might have overlooked since you asked for opinions.

Yes, pretty much.

Yup thank you! i never knew about this so next time for sure i wont make the same mistake.

But you have to agree pretty cheap for these parts. like if i got this from a local store it would have been 1500-2000$ if not more.. lol
