I think I would go for the Ryzen build, it's a close one though. The one thing holding back the Ryzen build is it only has a single stick of memory, you should almost always start with at least 2.

Stretch for this.

 

One stick is fine as long as you dont expect top FPS. The GPU is more often thsn not the bottlemeck anyway. Though get an SSD and a second stick later.

Different mobo, Ram, case.

 

Brought a better system to the table. 2400mhz ram should work fine thougj a bit of a bottleneck. Recommend trying some manual OC on the ram and adding a second stick later on

 

Edit: this system also makes use of the freesync monitor you picked out. This will remove any tearing which will make the experience better. People who have used freesync/gsync says they can go back to not having it anymore
