So i got a new build and after updating drivers and everything i launched Rainbow six siege. In options i had everything automatic to very high/ultra. So i ran a benchmark and got.... 10-20 fps max.I changed everything to low,ran a benchmark again.Same thing.I looked at my cpu load and it was at 20 % when i was playing(This happened with every game) and not passing that while my gpu was at 100 %. My temps were at 50c and below. I looked at some fix with nvidia 3d pannel and the power options and stuff but nothing fixed it.

My specs:

Gtx 1060 6gb Palit

Ryzen 3 1300x

8GB DDR4 2666mhz

Msi B350 Tomahawk

1TB HDD

600Watt PSU

Do you get better fps if you lower graphical settings? Also, have you actually played game itself vs running just benchmark?

Yes i do get better fps when i lower graphics and i have played the game its still low fps

CPU is probably having issues with higher detail. Have you tested other games?

Tested fortnite and ghost recon wildlands on highest and lowest settings its still pretty bad fps for my PC

Edit: It cant be my CPU too because its only at 20-30 % max

Well, thats the weakest part of system. Sure you can update GPU drivers, but that usually doesn't have effect on fps. It just fixes random drops and stuttering.

Alot of benchmarks showed great fps over 60+ so idk whats up with it

So maybe its just not powerful enough for very high/ultra detail. Lower settings and enjoy better fps or keep settings and enjoy lower fps. This isn't rocket science. If you would have beasty system (i7/r7 and 1080 or even 1070) things would be much different. But you have just R3. Its not that amazing CPU.

Built it around a week ago and the fans are at 100 % all the time i dont think it is

If only about a week old, I’d contact the manufacturer maybe. It could have micro fractures or some other manufacturing defect. That stuff is likely extraordinarily rare these days but not impossible.

I did alot of research on this and all were on the highest settings with the 60+ fps

I dont think theres something wrong with the card its just not going over 139mhz. It could be something with my PSU because its a cheap one and ill be changing it to see if theres a difference

From small check on few youtube videos run with bit slower GPU show lot of variation. Average fps being 50 on high settings to 60-75 on ultra settings. In RB6 Siege benchmark. You could run Heaven benchmark or Cinehench for GPU and see if its giving you numbers close to what other have gotten. Palit doesn't factory OC their cards, so yours should be close to Founders numbers, maybe bit better as it has aftermarket cooling. R5 CPU would give much better fps on higher detail settings.

So it is GPU issue afterall. If drivers (newest, older or beta) don't help, contact shop for RMA.
