Internet problems on Xbox One

So I have an Xbox One, but the problem is that when it is connected to my network wired or wirelessly, it will randomly dissconect and shut off, it is supposed to stop, but I think it may be a wifi card issue, I just want to know how to fix it before I send it in for a repair, but I also dont know if the wifi card is at all used when I have a wired connection, any help would be much appretiated, thanks

By shutoff do you mean like physically shut down?

If its physically shutting off that sounds like a hardware issue. Maybe even a bad power button? 

 

Does it shut off when not connected to internet at all? If it doesnt then I dont think its a network issue but still a hardware one. I would call Microsoft for support and repair if needed.
