Yeah that's what I thought since it was working before and since it's only between two devices on the same network.

The only thing I've really noticed is that websites slow down a ton, youtube becomes unusable and it takes ages to open a new page. And I checked speedtest.net and everything was as it was before, which is why I thought getting a better router should help

Is your internet being used on the apple tv?

If no then the router is not able to cope with the load applied on it !

No, not really. It just sits there receiving the screen from my sisters laptop or phone. Only thing she use it for.

The router may not have the umphh....to cater to both of your needs at the same time ...................at least this is my prediction here

Yeah that's exactly what I originaly thought aswell, but it's better to ask others who might know more about it before buying new and kind of expencive equipment.
