Sndisk clipjam playlist problems

I am trying to make a new playlist of my mp3 player, the sandisk clipjam. i am following the instructions on sandisks website for it, i have made playlists before, but every time i put the songs in the playlist it shows up empty on the clipjam when i go to select the playlist, the songs in the playlist show up literally everywhere else so i don't see what the problem is here.
