Problems with LED strip

And I would like to put it in my PC, however it uses a JST connector attached to some kind of power supply that makes it always be on and i want it to light up only when my PC is on. I have in my mind to find an adapter of JST to molex or JST to female 4 pin or even 2 pin connector, but i don´t know if they would work or if it exist. What would you recommend me?

Just to note those are not LED strips, it's EL or electroluminescent lighting that functions off of AC power so you absolutely must use that power box since it has a tiny DC to AC transformer. From that though comes a huge issue of coil whine as I have yet to find a silent converter.
