disable lock screen camera android 7.1.1

i have a moto e4+ i wish to disable the shortcut to the camera from the lock screen as my friends always spam it and i never use the shortcut myself i have been able to do this on all my previous phones (galaxy y, oneplus 1 and galaxy s5) but i cannot seem to do it on my current one i would love the help from the great ltt community many thanks -Xan

thanks for the advise i will try a couple third party camera apps and see what i get along with but i wasn't quite sure what you meant by "this app"
