PUBG is lagging while streaming with OBS

Hello everyone! 

 

My friend has an issue with PUBG while streaming the game via OBS. It all started after upgrading her PC, current specs are: 

 

CPU: Intel Core i7-8700k
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB RAM 3200mhz
MOBO: Gigabyte Z370P D3
HDD: Seagate 1TB 3,5
SSD: Samsung 120 GB
PSU: Thermaltake 700W

 

While launching the game alone, it's running perfectly (90-120 frames per second). However, when she starts streaming (via Streamlabs OBS), fps drop to around 40 and even to 30 at the start of the match. Windows have been reinstalled and OBS too, none of this helped. We also checked OBS settings, these are exactly as mine and I haven't got any performance issues (video quality is set to 720p60, she uses NVENC encoder). It is worth noting, that the problem occurs only in PUBG, e.g. fortnite runs okay. 

 

I've got some friends who have similar PC to her and during the stream they have around 80-120 fps at all times. 

 

 

I suspect hardware problem, but 3DMARK score was as it should be. Do you have any tips how to get rid of the issue? Any kind of help will be much appreciated. Thank you very much and have a nice weekend!

Try FRAPS instead.

What for?

To see if you get problems with FRAPS. That way you can tell whether its a software issue or hardware.
