Moving Windows from a Harddrive to an SSD

I bought a 240gb ssd from amazon and i want to move windows from my hdd to the ssd any tips?

If you want to move just windows alone, you can't. 

You will have to copy the hdd to the ssd and then format the hdd.

 

I Had the same problem and there is just no way around it than copying everything...

I used this tutorial to do this. I copied all the data from my  WD 1tb to my 850 evo 250 gb.

I dont think this software works with non samsung ssd's but im pretty sure other brands provide the same program, it's more or less the same thing

Many tools can help you clone OS, like MiniTool partition wizard, EaseUS Partition Master, AOMEI Partition Assitant, Paragon Partition Manager...
