There's a 2% overall difference: http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i3-8300-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-1600/m484077vs3919

It varies by task.

Good evening to you!

I made two Gaming setups for 720p high or 1080p medium for a total of about 770€ (1.178 CAD) (Yup i'm French !).

1st: https://shop.hardware.fr/configurateur/ade5e9a097472e1df67ea61d1cc794b0

2nd: https://shop.hardware.fr/configurateur/73a36f687c1a9afc4ee1d0b9248db979

My problem is that I don't know which one to choose and I think there is also a way to optimize all that, hence my post.

I mainly play FS 17, ETS 2, CS:GO, Cities Skylines, JC 3, Fortnite & PUBG (with some software like skype, discord, TS, OBS or spotify in background).

Thank you in advance!

Bonjour!

The Ryzen 5 1600 build would be a better option if you got a B350 motherboard to go with it instead of A320.

Can you argue please?

Ryzen 5 1600 has more cores, more threads, and will clock higher.

AM4 as a socket will last longer than Z370, with new CPUs being released on AM4 up to 2020.

Other than the previously mentioned motherboard, nope.
