if you want RGB externals Corsair has and RGB enabled mousepad, headset stand, wireless headset keyboard and mouse. this uses the corsair utility which after about 10 minutes of fiddling inside of the program some quite cool patterns can be made, also you get the ability to link all of the Corsair RGB together

That's about as far as my system goes with it's RGB. also I quite like the look of this ram and I am considering it when i move from a DDR3 based motherboard to a DDR4. I don't know if it would interest you or your customer but here it is  - G.Skill Trident Z RGB

I also don't mind this one but I don't think you can get it in 16GB - Team T-Force Night Hawk RGB

What is the pc going to be used for ? If just gaming then an i9 and 64GB Ram is a waste of money.

The issue with grabbing the I9 is that it is just so much more expencive.

If it is for workstation the threadripper will do the same as the XE. With some loss offcourse

High end video editing and animation as well. I think he will use for gaming but he wants to spend money why would I stop him. I insisted for 32 GB and 7700k but he insisted on the opposite direction. So here we are.

I would research the software being used as it might not be able to make use of multiple core cpus. Websites like Puget Systems are a good source of info.

It would be a shame to spend thousands on a build and not use all it's potential.
