i have comcast fiber speed the wierd thing i test with my older one it went to 900 close to it but i try my new system it goes half 500 and some times lowers or twice lowers is my computer doing something wrong as i dont use networking software on it and i dont mess with that or is this a motherboard flaw useing a intel  r 1211 gigabit network 

old system is asus 

new one msi carbon pro 370

A few things you can try, reinstalling the network driver which you may have already done.

 

If you are using any msi software utilities like gaming lan manager, remove that reboot and retry

 

If you have a spare drive try loading a vanilla copy of Windows 10 and test with minimal no software installed (except if it won’t work without the driver installed do the minimum driver only).  You can create a usb 10 installer from Microsoft’s website with the free media creation tool

i update driver from motherboard site only have one from december 2017 x370 carbon pro as intel website cant find the model as i try useing the online software scanner

my antivirus do i really need to fresh install and need to do full steam backup i hope it doesnt much the 1tb data cap
