Is talking about rooting allowed

so i had a question about how to root my device, but i don't know i can't tell if that would be allowed from reading the community standards. And as i don't want to be banned or anything like that i would just like to ask if it is allowed first. My question would be how to root x device

It's allowed. There's even a stickied thread dedicated to custom ROMs and rooting at the top of this subforum.
