Game server cpu suggestion

I want to know what is the best single core performance intel Xeon processor.

I want to know some CPU model based on 3 budget : Unlimited, US$500, US$300

The purpose of the CPU is to host multiple minecraft server on it.

Why not go 7700k or 8700K?

How many minecraft servers? The cpu core count depends on that too.

 

Also why Xeon? 

Why not i7 8700k, or a r7 2700x?

about 10 server

Because 8700k has too low core count,i don't think thats enough

Get a threadripper then.

Much cheaper than a similar xeon, but the same  performance.

You can get the 32thread threadripper 1950x.

 

For 500$ and 300$ the best deal is the 2700x with it's 16 threads.

For 3922.9690000$ (500$) and 2353.7814000$ (300$) the best deal is the 2700x with it's 16 threads.

Well ok then, then try to find used previous gen xeons if you dont want to pay thousands for a cpu. The over 10 core xeons are expensive af.
