I want to run setup but my wireless keyboard won’t let me hit F1. I’ve tried all the other ports for USB’s including the back for the wireless adapter for my keyboard and mouse. I’ve put my a6-7400k into my computer because it has integrated graphics (I don’t have a gpu for my Athlon 860k yet) so I just wanted to see how the performance was as I’ve upgraded the power supply.

Could this be be because of my wireless mouse and keyboard? I don’t have a wired keyboard spare.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, it depends on the motherboard and sometimes on the keyboard as well but it is possible that the wireless keyboard will not work on the boot screen.

So you should get/borrow a wired keyboard somewhere.

This is why I keep a shitty Dell keyboard around because it ALWAYS works.

Go to a local thrift store and get one for, like, $2. You can clean it up and have it as a "BIOS keyboard" (that's what I call mine :P).

I have gone out the way to buy a keyboard and I’m hitting F1 and nothing works. I did wire the motherboard my self but I’m confident it’s all correct.

Many idea why it’s not responding??
