If you haven't already, back up that drive immediately! If your don't have a drive (preferably two) to backup to, shut down the drive and don't power it up again until you get a backup drive. If the drive at risk is out of warranty, replace it with a 4TB or 6TB drive; for some reason, the 3TB and 5TB drives have had a higher failure rate than the even number drives.

One has to be proactive, not reactive, to ensure the safety of one's data so backup your data! And RAID is NOT a backup!
