i3?i5?i7?

Hi, Im a student from Hong Kong with many question.

I would like to establish my case here. So im going to buy a laptop next month for daily basis use such as gaming, photoshop and other very cpu gpu consuming application. However when i was checking out the new laptop, i found out there was a thing called i3 i5 i7. If i have to choose from these three option, which they all have the same 7th gen. What is the different? Which one should i choose? Is stronger or weaker?
