Hi there,

Since about half a year I have a Nvidia GTX 1080 (Gigabyte G1) in my PC. The PC is overclock to 4.3 GHz. For the last couple of month I had issues with random screen blackouts that needed a reboot. Though is is very different than when I my overclock didn't work (when I was @4.4/4.5) then I got the blue screen with the :( and the PC shut down for reboot.

Now the PC keeps running, I still got a picture on my Editing monitor (connected to a Decklink Mini Monitor 4K from BMD) and if music is playing, it keeps playing...

This makes me think it has someting to do with the GPU (which is not OC'd). Anybody has come across similar issues? Can it be solved or does the GPU needs replacement? Any possibility the OC of the CPU is causing this (though I also have to state, that it also happens on very low CPU usage).

Thanks for the help.

Cheers

No, no extended stability testing...but it worked well with the old GPU (at least for two weeks). It also doesn't happen when under load; pretty much randomly..
