Hello! This will be my second build log (Although the first was more of just a finished look.. This will hopefully be more of a build log)

I'm currently planning a computer build in a Bitfenix Prodigy.. I'll list the specs below.

Case - Bitfenix Prodigy

PSU - Silverstone ST65F-G (Swapped from a Corsair AX760i)

Motherboard - Asus P8Z77i - Deluxe (Any other good ones? It's pretty slim pickings, and this one has been the highest praised so far)

Ram - 8gb spare G-Skill ram (Will upgrade to a 16gb kit later, likely Corsair Dominator Platinums)

Storage - 256gb Samsung 840 Pro (Just gonna use one 256gb)

Cpu - Core i7 3770k

Cpu Cooler - Corsair H100i

GPU - GTX Titan (Will be purchasing later.. Using Integrated until I can shell out another $1000.)

Well, I believe that's it for now. I'll be updating as I change parts or get them. If you spot any incompatibilities that I overlooked, please point them out!

Also, if you have any recommendations, please voice them! This is currently just planning it out, but I'm relatively certain I'll be using this over the FT03-Mini build I was planning. I already have that set up and ready to order if I change my mind on using this.

i really dont think the ax760i will fit in the prodigy. im doing a prodigy build right now and using a fully modular 140mm silverstone psu is a pretty tight fit. anything modular with a longer depth and im not sure its gonna be possible.

If you use standoffs on the psu backplate there may be a chance.

Alright, I'm swapping the power supply to a Silverstone ST65F-G.

It's 140mm, and a fully modular 650w, so I assume that should work perfectly. That little cage for the power supply has been the most troublesome thing in planning this build.

Does anyone have any recommendations for some fans? I really don't care about how they look. I was planning on going with some Noctua NF-P12 fans for the H100i, and a Noctua NF-A14 for the rear fan.

Does anyone have any experience with either of those? I want to make this build as quiet as possible. I'll probably won't overclock it beyond 4Ghz.

If anyone has any good recommendations to reduce noise in it, please voice them!

It has begun!

I have the motherboard, processor, case, and a fan.

I'll be using a 230mm Bitfenix Spectre as the front intake, and using only the H100i as the exhaust.

The fan is slightly audible, but I'll probably be putting a 7v adapter on it to make it completely silent.

The motherboard was a pain in the ass to install though, as my screwdriver is about an inch too long to be able to screw everything in correctly.

Just saw this now and skimmed through it, for fans: Noctua NF-F12s all the way! I have FIVE of them in my prodigy (one intake, one exhaust, two as intake on a rad and one in my PSU) and my system is dead silent (and I mean seriously SILENT). Best fans ever. As simple as that!
