Hi guys,

This is my first ever build and I was hoping you guys will be able to look at it.

What I am aiming for is a gaming pc that can run games such as Rainbow 6 Seige, The Witcher 3, and Overwatch. I have a budget of about  $1500 AUD as I also need money to purchase a monitor.

Any help, comments or thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

CPU: Ryzen 1600

MOBO: Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3

RAM: 2X8 Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-2666

Cooler: Stock cooler with CPU

GPU: Gigabyte Radon RX580 8gb

Storage: Samsung 860 EVO 250gb SSD, Seagate Barracuda 2Tb HDD

Case: Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 5 RGB

PSU: Corsair CMX 550W 80+ Bronze

@liam010
pretty good build :) but i would suggest getting 3000 Mhz RAM because Ryzen benefits from memory speed, but 2666mhz is fine too if the price difference is too big.

nothing else i would change, its pretty well rounded.

make sure it's a 1080p monitor, an RX 580 will struggle with 1440p or 4K, you can run 1440p on it but you'll have to turn down settings to get the FPS that you want.

but anyway at 1080p you will definitely play all the games you mentioned at max settings :) maybe high-ultra for witcher 3 but most likely ultra

Quote or Tag people so they know that you've replied.
