4K Monitor Toss Up

Hi,

I'm looking at 4k monitors and there's two that have stood out to me, both from LG.

27UD69-W and the 27UK600-W, both of which are available to me at around 680 AUD.

 

The only difference between them is that the UK600 is HDR with a lower contrast (1000:1), while the UD69 has a higher contrast (1300:1) without HDR support.

 

I'm planning on getting 2 of either one for my PC but the main question I have is, how much better is that contrast ratio? HDR isnt developed on windows yet but is it worth getting it now because its evolving, or is the contrast ratio of the UD69 a much better deal?

If you care about HDR you want the higher contrast but just check reviews.

Otherwise just grab any old 4k 27" IPS display?

UD69 doesnt support HDR though.

That's really dumb then...but it's not like HDR on the PC is a big deal anyways.

It is a 4k ips monitor.

I did consider it but a lot of reviews say that the specs listed are extremely different to what you actually get. It's also 200$ more expensive than the LGs

I have the monitor and it is pretty good.
