Good luck finding the Vegas for a reasonable price or even in stock. Mining is slowly fading, but AMD GPUs are still pretty expensive, when compared to their Nvidia counterparts.

They came back in stock around MSRP a little while ago. Don't get an Nvidia GPU if you own an Adaptive Sync monitor and specifically play Vulkan titles. OC this and it should rip off 1440p:

vega 56 500

That's almost not horrible....Vega 56 is pretty good, especially if you can flash it to a 64 BIOS to get extra memory voltage for overclocking the HBM, but undervolting the core.

Unless you're very sensitive to screen tearing and issues like that, at 144hz it's a lot less noticable in general.

If you don't already own a display were you going to buy one of the 1440p 144hz IPS $399 free-sync korean displays?

Unless you really want a 1440p desktop, acer makes this $199 1080p 144hz IPS free-sync display

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...
