I have a led samsung monitor i may buy 4k in  febuary. I dont know which to get a  780ti 780 or shall i wait for the 800 serious

I would wait for 800 as it should be a new architecure and probably better support for 4k.

Just wait, Nvidia always starts their new line with the top card. The top 8xx card will be better than the 780 Ti and probably feature more VRAM so it's worth it to wait and see if you're planning on 4k gaming.

Would the new top of the line card be better than the cureent top of the line card? I would sure hope so as well thats never not happened before and would kinda be a horrible marketing decision not to do that.

unless you count true audio or whatever it's called the 290 doesn't really have any compelling features, while the 780/780Ti has Geforce Experience and Shadowplay(which can now stream to twitch). Also AMD cards prices are inflated right now because of all the bitcoin/litecoin bs.

r9 290 has a compelling feature called mantle...

i know but i dont know what to do?

780ti vs 780 vs the 290/x??

I would pick a non reference r9 290, for example I just purchased a Gigabyte Windforce 3X R9 290 that comes factory OC'ed for 580 bucks on newegg. You could go with the (x) version if you have Money to blow or you could use that extra Money for something else. As for the 780 that is neck to neck with the r9 290 but the r9 290 pulls ahead in most cases by very Little. So I feel like you should choose between r9 290(x) or the 780 ti. IF I were you, i would go with the r9 290 non-x because 1) saves cash for other upgrades hardly sacraficing any preformance from the non x version 2) Mantle which comes on all AMD cards which gives boosts in games that the developers activate it such as bf4. As for the 780 ti, if you want the most preformance out there at a cost, buy this, but the r9 290s are overkill already thats why I reccommend them. also because mantle should be a big hit.

EDIT: If you decide to go with the r9 290s MAKE SURE you buy one with an aftermarket cooler unless you like haveing a hot jet turbine in your room.

Sounds good :) Forgot to mention that if you mine you can make a lot of Money back with high end AMD cards you probably knew that though.

what money and how?

If you run your computer mining lite coins when your not playing games (overnight and at school also), depending how long you leave your computer on when your not using it, you can make 5-10 LTC per month with an r9 290. Each lite coin (LTC) is Worth around 20 dollars right now I beleive and they are only raising in price. If you have Heard of bitcoins, Its the same thing (crypto currency). The sooner you start "mining" these coins, the more you can make which = more cash ;)

Save your coins. Do not sell them right away and Watch them gain value.

Also to get the litecoins what you have to do except leave your computer open'?

Well just read about it. Its kinda complicated for a forum post for me to go into detail with it. Its easy to google or maybe just make a forum post specifically for it. Sorry =(
