Any info on the EVGA G1+?

EVGA launched the G1+ a while back as a successor to the crap G1 lineup. It's already on sale but there still are no reviews of the thing.

 

I normally wouldn't be interested seeing as how bad the G1 was except that EVGA advertises much better voltage regulation (0.5% ish vs 3% on the original), DC to DC conversion, as well as Japanese caps. All of these were major weaknesses of the original. Which actually makes me a bit interested, as the G1+ could be pretty decent if they fixed all of these things as well as ripple on the 12v rail.

 

Has anyone seen reviews of it? Perhaps info on what platform it uses?
