Your CPU is fine then.

If you really want the RAM upgrade go to 16 (either 4x4 [best] or 2x8) GB of ~2400 MHz or 2666MHz. IMO you don't need extra speed, but another 2x4 set of 2133MHz will do you just fine .

What's your budget?

Ryzen 9 5900X - MSI Ventus 2x OC 3060 Ti - 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz CL16 - ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming ITX/ax

EVGA CLC 280 + 2x140mm NF-A14 - Samsung 850 EVO 500GB + WD Black SN750 1TB - Windows 11/10 - EVGA Supernova G3 1000W

I set aside 500$ for the upgrade at most. Also my motherboard only has two dimm slots that are in use so another 2x4 isn't possible

Would you like to buy some used parts from eBay? (I'm running some numbers on a potential upgrade for you)

thanks I couldn't find that SSD deal. go with that.

as for the 6600K:

The 6600K will open up overclocking for you. Really, you could get by with a 6400, but if you want the "Most Power Possible" for the longest longevity and you have spare cash, do it.

IMO you don't but you said you had a budget of 500 and you still fit very well into that
