I'm currently look for speakers. I will be using them on my computer. I will be primarily using them for music but I would also like to use them for the occasional movies and games. So what is the best I could get for my budget? $100-200. If there aren't anything good please do recommend me something to save up for.

OMD I thought he stole one of my pictures :o I have no idea...

Do you have a specification for your PC or Laptop. I use Xmini's since I have a laptop to enhance the loudness of my audio.

Stop with the 2500's....

If you want some gaming/lesser quality 2.1, you can pick up the promedia 2.1's.

Grab a pair of audioengine A2's or A2+ if you can swing it, and throw on a subwoofer later. Fostex pm0.4's are also good.

Yes I do live in a house but my neighbors could probably hear me blasting something on speakers since I could hear their children playing... and trust me its loud LOL. But I wish to use speakers when I'm not annoying anyone... so my ears could breath from using headphones.

These are great,

You could also make your own using a bookshelf speaker and a decent amp,

SP2500 has been recommended to me numerous times but I'm trying to see if there are better options.

It's just a pc... nothing really special. I'm not using a dac or soundcard for my headphones. Just using onboard audio solution... If thats what your asking.

Thanks... I'll take that into consideration.
