So, is a upgrade from a 80+Bronze Psu to a 80+Gold Gpu worth it? I don't think it is, but would like to hear your opinions.

Are you saying 80+ Bronze PSU to a 80+ Gold PSU?

If so, their would be no difference. Power wise you would be saving very little for electricity.

If you were Bitcoin mining a Platinum PSU would probably be best just for saving a little bit of money.

I would say no assuming you already have the 80+ bronze PSU.

So, like the only diffrence is how much electricity you save?

yeah, but one of my friends that are buying a computer was talking about 80+Gold are much better, and that made me unsure if my purchase was good.

Yeah they're better but, 80+ bronze is good enough, it's not worth it to upgrade

There are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary, and those who don't.

For the most part, yes. The 80Plus levels are an efficiency rating. In addition to less power being lost/wasted at each level, it also means less waste heat which ultimately leads to quieter operation and longer lifetimes.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Alright, that shouldn't be a problem right now. The Psu is pretty new.

Unless you want semi-passive PSUs, or the little efficiency gain, there is no reason to upgrade.
