First build won't boot.

I build my first ryzen system but it won't boot. All the fans spin but it doesn't post to display. The pins on the CPU were bent. When they were bent the system wondnt even turn on. I bent them back and it "turned on" but stl won't display to monitor

Just a sanity check but does your motherboard have video out, if so did you plug the display into there instead of the graphics card? Also I assume you waited a while but I believe Ryzen can take up to several minutes to post the first time.

Did you try with only 1 RAM in different positions ?

Few Questions that can hopefully identify the issue.

Q1. Do you hear any beeps when you boot the system?

Q2. Have you tried to remove and place back the CMOS battery?

Q3. Are you sure the Graphics card works? or not try it on a different system.

Q4. Have you tried different ports on the GPU?

Try removing all non essential cables for booting. such as sata cables, usb network

Q5.Why don't you send the motherboard back as a dead on arrival? then try again when you get a replacement?

Exactly, I believe that motherboard has video outs on it and if he plugged into the motherboard he would get no video signal.

Ok I got it to work. Idk what was wrong but I just left it with the power of for half an hour and eventually it clicked on to bios.
