Possible hdd failure.

Ok so I am helping a buddy build a pc. And he has 2 2tb hdd and 1 nvme 512gb ssd that are being detected by the bios. But when I click the drive it sends me to a error along the lines of select a boot media and restart. I have plugged the hdmi into the integrated graphics and out of the gpu. I should also say that I HAVE not installed windows yet and thought the hdd issue would fix this. Please help me

I should also say that I have tried different Sata and power cords to no avail.

Your gonna have a boot error since there is no os. Install the os first.

 

Id unplug the hdds when installing on the nvme so you don't put something on the hdd by mistabke.
