PS4 Pro on ASUS PB287Q at 1080p

I am planing to buy a PS4 Pro soon. I have an Asus PB287Q monitor and I know that i won't be able to play at 4K resolution using PS4 Pro on this monitor. I should be able to play at 1080p on Asus PB287Q, but when i change to 1080p resolution on my PC it does not look good. The text is blury and it is bad. I don't plan to buy a 4K TV or upgrade my monitor anytime soon. So i am in doubt whether to buy the PS4 Pro or just go for a PS4 Slim. If i have to play on one of my 1080p monitors there is no added advantage or buying the PS4 Pro right? Or will there ever be HDMI2 in to DP converters so i can use the PS4 Pro on my Asus PB287Q 4K monitor. I am in a dilemma whether to buy the PS4 Slim or PS4 Pro. What are your thoughts guys? Please help out.

This is normal when using non-native resolutions, due to the interpolation algorithms used, it will be blurrier than on a native 1080p display.

Will there be any hope for me playing at 4K? other than going for a 4K TV/Display with HDMI2 and HDR support. Is there HDMI2 In to DP converters that will allow me to play at 4K resolutions on my Asus PB287Q?
