Paypal error???

I bought humble monthly and the humble bundle hooked on multiplayer with paypal, pulling money from my checking account. I thought i was out of money when i checked and nothing had been pulled out of it my checking account. The payments through paypal were processed. Should i keep using my accounts or wait a month. I also dont know the legal pudhback from this. I hope that someone here has dome insight on this.
