Hi there everyone this is my first post to these forums.

I am wanting to build my first gaming computer. my budget is around 850 dollars but this is flexible to a certain extent. I am building this computer to game on and hopefully be able to upgrade to at least 2 high refresh rate 1080p monitors and also I do a little bit of video editing on the side, nothing major. I am going to be living in a dorm room at college so that is something I am taking into account I do like a little bit of rgb, I've caught the bug. Here is what I have so far in ideas of what I think I want as part of my build what do you guys think and what do you recommend I would love to hear it.

For my graphics card, I am thinking about buying a gtx 980 or 980ti used for good price to performance what do you guys think?

For my processor I think I want and amd ryzen 5 but I am not sure which one? I was going to buy one in a bundle with at least the asus B350 rbg mother board, so I am not sure which one of those to get if any.

I really dont know what power supply to get I was thinking a semi modular corsair 550.

I was also thinking about getting 8 gb of ram at first is that enough?

For storage I was thinking about an SSD drive for a boot drive then a large 2 tb hard drive for mass storage.

as for cases I was between the p350x or the Coolermaster Hp500 because it also comes with a free rgb 120mm aio.

Both work with aura link thats why I wanted the asus board.

What do you guys think and recommend would love to hear it

also as of now I only have a mac book so that is why I am making my first personal windows desktop.
