My tax returns are here and i am looking for a bit more performance from my computer. I have around 150-200 dollars and am sick of waiting for next gen cards. I was looking at the 650 ti boost by Asus and am wondering how much of an increase in performance i would get over my 550 ti. I dont think i would really need a super high end hard like a 7950/660ti right now but if these are dramatically better then the 650 boost then i might consider.

This is what im thinking

Pretty sizable notice. I also recommend GTX 650 TI Boost in SLI as the performance matches/beats a GTX 680/HD 7970GHz

Summer build: I7-4770K @ 4.5GHz, 4x4GB (Alternative black/red) DDR3 1600MHz, HD 7970GHz Water blocked, XSPC res/pump combo, 2 dual 120MM radiators, Corsair 350D Case, Corsair AX860I 80+ Gold PSU, custom red individually sleeved cables, red tubing w/ silver/chrome compression fittings, 480GB Crucial M500 SSD, ASrock Z87 MATX professional board, and a Corsair Vengeance K60 keyboard.

Then you have additional heat and noise concerns. I also wouldn't go multi-GPU because of the info that's come to light about FPS not being a good measure of performance too. One card seems to prevent a lot of headache from occurring.
