ssd cant load windows 7

i just got a samsung 840 evo today (120gb) to use as a boot drive and to load my other main applications onto (prior to using my 1tb WD blue). However i start to have problems when i try and load a fresh copy of windows 7 onto the drive. The installation process begins normally and successfully goes through the 4-5ish step checklist (extracting files, coping data, etc.) However when it goes to reboot for the last time i get prompted with a pop up saying "The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click "OK" to restart the computer, and then restart the installation" But hitting ok will simply send me into a boot loop where i get prompted with the same pop up. The mounted ISO is the same file ive been using for all my many installations of 7 so it is not a file problem. If anyone has experienced this issue and knows how to fix it id gladly listen.

It may be a faulty ISO. If not, try a different SATA port and cable.

trying a different port is definetely a good bet, maybe format the drive and then try again. also if you havent done so it might be good to unplug everythign useless during the installation, like other harddrives. also make sure in the bios you set your ssd to ahci mode otherwise it will not operate as advertised.

Remove the ISO media before the reboot.

i switched sata cables and now it seems to be running properly. thanks all for the help, guess it was just a faulty cable
