Disregarding @Carbide X's less than helpful answer. Yeah, it should be fine and your cpu shouldn't (keyword) bottleneck the 1050 in most games. Although that cpu is still pretty lacking and I'd consider an upgrade in that department first. (I would save more than 100$ for the 1050 though) Also, if you go for the 1050 make sure you get the 3GB version if you can, it should be equal-ish to a 1050Ti
