Ok so I have enough Money for an r9 290x and I am wondering if its Worth the extra Money from a regular r9 290 non-x. I will be either buying a direct CUII version of this card or the Twin Frozr IV and I was hoping that somebody could tell me the release dates of those two and whether I should invest in the "x" version or not.

If spending an extra $150 for 3-5 more FPS is worth it to you then get a 290x. If not just get a 290

I have Heard the difference is up to 10% Is that not true?

Exactly. A 10% difference is like going from 50 fps to 55. It's pretty small. And if you get a direct cu2 it will over clock so well that the difference is even smaller

I heard in TS this morning that someone got a Windforce 3 R9-290.  His temps were great and got a good OC on it.

Really? This is out?

I agree that it is a Little overpriced but I feel like its Worth buying. Would you say so? I mean it has 3 fans. Prolly cooler than DCUII or Twin Frozr and its out NOW. The price is a Little inflated but there is no guarantee that it will drop soon.

At $579 it's almost $200 above MSRP, that's just insane.

When do you predict that it will drop. And will this be a cooler card than the dcuii or the TF?

To the first question after the holidays, to the second question I really don't know we'll have to wait for reviews.

The reason I wanna buy this now is because its cheaper for the time im in america. I have to go back to sweden where evrything is overpriced like fuck in 2 weeks so Im pretty eager. With 3 fans you cant really go wrong anyway lol.
