Custom Backplates

Does anybody know of a company that will do custom backplates? I had Dwood's website from overclock.net bookmarked but apparently his site has expired and nobody has heard from him for months, and Coldzero.eu is hardly ever open to take orders anymore, so I'm not sure where else to turn for custom fabrication. I live in a small town with no metal work places around, so local isn't an option. I'm looking to have a backplate made for a 780ti in a future build.

 

(Also if anybody has a diagram of spacing and dimensions for this it would be appreciated, if not I'm sure a Google search can turn something up for me.)

How custom are you looking for? Custom colour only or some funky cutouts or weird cooling solutions?

 

Here's one ready made option from EKWB:

Also others in their selection for eg. Asus cards.

 

Dimensions are easy to measure if you have the card already, but otherwise I would ask from backplate makers for example. They get the diagrams from manufacturers to help them make the backplates. Or ask directly from the GPU vendor.

I'll have a look, but the only one I knew of was Dwood, and his website domain expired and he disappeared months ago without fulfilling all his orders and his forum thread was since shut down. See here.

Damn, yeah Dwood would be the person that I was thinking of that really sucks bro.

Yeah he was the one I had planned on having backplates done through but then I found out about all of that stuff and went looking for somebody else.

I was going to recommend OCN as well, but that seems to be out of the question now.

You can grab a backplate and custom paint it yourself.

Yeah if I can't find somebody who can cut and fill like that, I'll probably just end up getting one of EK's backplates and doing the a paint job instead.
