Upgrading a Phone

My friend has been running a rather mainstream Android phone with modified 6.1Marshmallow. He is looking to upgrade to a new phone. Two things, he asked me if he can just pop the SIM card out if his old phone and put or into the new one. And more importantly, should he pick an Iphone7/8 or Google Pixel 2.

He really wants I message but likes unmodified Android, although, he has also looked at Samsung S9s. What should I recommend for him?

1. If the two phones are unlocked or are on the same service provider, yes.

 

2. Google PX2 has a great camera, but you should watch some reviews on it and choose what is best for you.

Provided the device is unlocked if it's not bought directly from your carrier and the size of the SIM card match up, there should be no issue. In terms of which phone to go for, ask him what's most important to him.

I would go with the one plus 6. really good phone at an amazing price that came out like a week ago. It has high storage and a good amount of ram depending on model's. Prices range from 530-630. But that is what i would pick.
