Wonder if anyone can help me here? I am running a Samsung 960 EVO as my boot drive for Win 10 in the slot under the cover of the motherboard, boots fine works well.

I am a little confused regarding the wording in the ASUS manual about SATA ports being disabled when using NVME drives.

My first question is what will happen to my SATA ports when I install my second NVME drive into the second upright slot? Will I lose two of the SATA ports?

Secondly, can the second port be set up to run the same as the first port i.e. in PCIE mode rather than SATA, the manual is just not that clear.

Basically, I don't really want to install a 2nd NVME drive of 250GB only to find that my two INTEL SSD's in SATA 5 and 6 are no longer going to work.

Any suggestion, tips or advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!
