Secondary hard drive causing code 78 on Asus mobo

Jman

For the past few weeks my computer has been staying at a blank screen (no signal to monitor) after turning it on and then it turns to an overlooking failed screen.  If I press f1 for the option to run setup, it will normally work after 1 or 2 tries. I did some troubleshooting and have discovered it only does it when my wd black 2TB hard drive is connected (OS is on ssd).  The motherboard reads error code 78 which is the code for acpi module initialization.  Help would be greatly appreciated!

Current specs:

Asus z97 pro

2x 8gb corsair vengence

Evga gtx 980ti

Intel 4690k

Wd black 2tb

250gb 840 evo

Evga supernova 1000 G2

Well first thing first. The overclock; drop it. Set your settings back to default.

This might not be drive related.
