Hello,

I am working on a 3D printer for a friend, it is a GEEETECH I3 Pro. The controller board is the GT2560. I have adapted the printer to a clone chimera hotend, and have gotten it printing decently with the primary extruder. I have started to run into issues while slicing a 3dBenchy boat test print. During slicing, part of the print seems to be ignored by the software, leaving a void in the print. I will attach pictures for reference. I am using Slic3r 1.2.2 (I think, it is the version baked into Repetier host by default.) and will post pictures of my slicing settings.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Sometimes theres errors in the 3D stl file that causes problems when you go to slice them. Some slicers have an option to repair the stl and that can fix some issues. Theres also applications that can do this as well, though i cant remember the names, Its been awhile since i did any printing.
