Sometimes, it depends on your computer. It doesn't say everything on the spec page. You could install an SSD for the OS and if there's extra cables, use the hard drive for data. If there's an extra pcie slot, you could put in a GPU BUT you have to first check if there's cables from the power supply to connect to it, and if not you'd have to get something like a 1050 ti which requires no external power. You also have to check what the power supply is rated for, prebuilt PC's generally have low wattage rated PSUs.

looks like a smaller 1050/ti could fit.

It has a non standard power supply, you won't be getting anything high end out of that.

Will you be using it for gaming? If not, the SSD is the only major upgrade you can do that you'll see a huge difference in. If you notice you're using most of the 8gb of ram installed, another stick would help.

for gaming, get a 1050ti, check wattage and form factor before buying a new psu.
